Production Process
At PSW Group, we specialize in the production of high-performance magnesium and master alloys. By combining advanced recycling techniques with primary magnesium production, we deliver materials that meet the rigorous demands of modern industry.
Product Model
Magnesium Alloys
PSW Group offers an extensive portfolio of magnesium alloys such as A8, AZ91, AM20, AM50, AM60, and AMZ40, as well as a series of special alloys such as AS31, AJ62, and MRI 153.
While we excel at recycling scrap into high-quality secondary alloys, we also produce standard and specialty grades directly from pure magnesium.
Standard Grade Alloys
A8, AZ91, AM20, AM50, AM60, AMZ40
Special Grade Alloys
AS31, AJ62, MRI 153, ZE41A
Ingot Dimensions
Our ingots measure 630 mm in length, with weights ranging from 4–12 kg, depending on customer request. We are also capable of producing ingots 800 mm in length, with weights between 9–12 kg.
- 630 mm ingot — weight 4–12 kg
- 800 mm ingot — weight 9–12 kg
Master Alloys
The quality of a master alloy is the defining factor in the performance of downstream aluminum products. At PSW Group, we produce essential master alloys used to manufacture high-end aluminum materials for aerospace, automotive, and technical industries.
Our master alloy portfolio includes:
- Light & Reactive: Al-Be, Al-Ti, Al-Si, Al-V
- Structural & Strengthening: Al-Cr, Al-Mn, Al-Fe, Al-Cu, Al-Ni
By maintaining strict metallurgical control, we ensure our master alloys provide the consistent grain refinement and alloying accuracy necessary for your most critical projects.
Application
Magnesium alloys are used across a wide range of industries due to their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio:
- Aerospace — Lightweight structural components
- Automotive — Engine blocks, gearboxes, seat frames
- Telecom — Electronic housings and enclosures
Other applications
- Rail Transit
- Electronic Products
- Biomedical
- Architectural Decoration
