About MagReTech

MagReTech is a magnesium recycler based in Bellevue, Ohio that services the die casting, aluminum, sand casting, and aerospace industry. The company supplies secondary magnesium ingot while also providing tolling and chip recycling services. Our products are completely made of scrap.

While our operations are in the US, we are part of a global network spanning three continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). These three continents represent the overwhelming majority of magnesium scrap production in the world.

Our History

MagReTech was built in 1996 in Bellevue, Ohio. New ownership in 2016 invested in new technology and process improvements. 2018 saw a major facility expansion. 2019 brought a first-of-its-kind semi-solid chip recycling line in North America. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Sustainability

Since 2017, MagReTech has reduced carbon emissions by 71.7%, targeting an additional 80% reduction by 2025. Recycling magnesium uses only 5% of the energy required for primary production while maintaining identical chemical, physical, and mechanical qualities.
